My diverse work experience across Business & Industry, Academia, Government & Politics was found useful by Union & State governments Academic Institutions, Multilateral Agencies, Industry & Academia for providing inputs in policy making concerning Youth in the areas of Future of Work, Skills & Education, Jobs & Livelihoods, Apprenticeship and Entrepreneurship, Technology issues like Cyber Crime and Data Protection & Business & Industry issues like, Ease of Doing Business, Inward Investments, Infrastructure & Branding.
I was nominated as Chairman of NIT Nagaland, an Institution of Eminence (IOE) in Higher Technical Education by His Excellency the President of India, who happens to be the Visitor of the Institution, on the recommendations of the Union Government of India.
I was nominated as a Member of the Board of IIM Sambalpur, another Institution of Eminence (IOE) in Management and as a Member of the Information Technology Academic Bureau of AICTE by the Union Government of India.
My experiences in the area of Cyber Crime and Data Protection and demonstrated ability in setting up of a Cyber Lab was found appropriate to be nominated as an Adviser to West Bengal Police North 24 Parganas district.
My understanding and passion to work on Youth issues like Entrepreneurship found its’ recognition with Calcutta Business School, a leading B-School inviting me as an Adviser of their Entrepreneurship Cell, Empretec India Foundation & UNCTAD as their pro bono Head of Advocacy for their Empretec (Promoting Entrepreneurship) in India.
I was also nominated as a Board Member of IISWBM, the oldest B-School in India.
The Governments of Odisha and West Bengal found my experience working for the IT Industry appropriate to be the part of the High-powered IT Advisory Committees on Software & Hardware.
My experiences of the IT sector and broad understanding of the Technology sector was considered to be an important element to be appointed by His Excellency, the Governor of West Bengal on the recommendations of the West Bengal Government in the Board of NDITA. an urban local body, created by an act of statute to cater to the Technology township in West Bengal, namely Sector V and as a Member of the Expert Group of Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation, by the West Bengal Government.
My experiences on Youth issues, namely Education & Skills, Career, Jobs & Livelihood and Technology issues was found important by the Government of West Bengal and they nominated me as a Board Member of WBJEEB and a Member of the Academic Council of NSOU .
My knowledge and skills and demonstrated achievements as the Regional Director of CLE, was recognised by ILTA & Government of West Bengal who nominated me as a Member to represent them in the 10th 5-year Mid-Term Appraisal Committee of the Planning Commission for the interest of West Bengal Leather Industry.
My stint in the Leather Industry was also recognised by NITTTR Kolkata and they nominated me as a Resource Person for preparing Curriculum for the Leather Industry.
I had worked very closely with British Deputy High Commission as the Regional Head of NASSCOM to promote inward and outward investments and they invited me to be a part of the British Business Group of Eastern India.
