Who I am

An advisor at the intersection of government, industry and ideas.

Leveraging a strong background in economics, politics and international business, I deliver expertise in government relations, public policy and stakeholder engagement to drive business growth and regulatory improvement.

As a trusted advisor, I bring first-hand exposure to the political economy, public administration and the policymaking process — with a deep understanding of how interest groups shape policy, influence budget allocations and impact industrial regulation. I share that knowledge through public speaking, writing and media engagements.

“I make a difference to individuals and institutions by creating and communicating their stories to their target groups — building a distinct brand, stronger equity and real value.”

What I do

Areas of practice

Six ways I help institutions and enterprises move from intent to outcome across the government and public-policy landscape.

01

Policy Advocacy & Communications

Advocacy, outreach, visibility, communications and branding — shaping the narrative that moves decision-makers and the public.

02

Public Policy

Translating economic and industrial priorities into policy inputs — from IT and industry to education and skills.

03

Government & Stakeholder Relations

Relationship and stakeholder management across bureaucracy, political leadership, industry bodies and communities.

04

Ease of Doing Business

Unlocking regulatory friction, capacity building and access to credit so industry can invest and grow with confidence.

05

Market Development & Access

Opening markets and business opportunities — connecting enterprise to the right institutions and platforms.

06

Brand, Positioning & Presence

Building distinct identity and positioning for individuals and institutions — better equity, presence and value.

Impact in practice

Turning a stalled pipeline into a solved problem.

As Adviser & Head of Corporate Relations at Essar Oil & Gas Exploration, I resolved a stakeholder deadlock around the GAIL gas pipeline in the Bengal stretch supplying Matix Fertilisers, Durgapur.

The problem

Environmental concerns and landowner grievances — perceived loss of income, compensation inequalities and delays in receiving dues — were holding up the laying of the pipeline across the Bengal stretch.

My intervention

My familiarity with local political and administrative leadership gave me credible access to landowners. Working through the Land Commissioner's Office, West Bengal, I helped route directives to the District Magistrates and Land Records offices to fix and release compensation.

The result

Landowner concerns were addressed and the compensation process expedited — clearing the path for the pipeline and protecting a critical gas supply to Matix Fertilisers.

A cause I champion

The Youth Programme

I work with young people — particularly those from socially and economically backward backgrounds — to give them a real understanding of the “Future of Work,” and I partner with institutions to amplify their aspirations, choices and unmet needs.

Mission

To build a platform for the exchange of ideas and the dissemination of employment, skilling and learning initiatives — engaging young people aged 10–24 and unleashing their potential.

Vision

To see India foster the conditions and mechanisms that promote improved well-being and livelihoods among young people, especially those from marginalised backgrounds.
